About This Tool

The Creator Knowledge Base Builder is a personal note and idea organiser that stores everything in your browser using IndexedDB. There is no account, no server, and no cloud sync — every note you create is stored locally on your device and persists between sessions.

Use it to capture video ideas before you forget them, save hook lines that come to mind, draft script outlines, manage a personal to-do list, or log research notes. The search and category filter lets you find any note instantly across your full collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are my notes stored?

All notes are stored in your browser's IndexedDB — a client-side database built into every modern browser. Nothing is sent to a server. The data is tied to this browser on this device. Clearing your browser data or site data will permanently delete all notes.

Will my notes survive if I close the browser?

Yes. IndexedDB data persists between browser sessions — closing and reopening the browser will not delete your notes. Only clearing browser storage, using private/incognito mode, or actively deleting notes removes them.

Can I back up my notes?

Use the "Export as Text" button to copy all your notes as a plain text file. Paste this into Notion, Google Docs, or a text file as a manual backup. We recommend exporting regularly if you add important content.

Is there a limit to how many notes I can save?

IndexedDB has no practical limit for typical use — you can store hundreds or thousands of notes without any issues. Storage is limited only by your device's available disk space.
