Enter your selling price, costs and fees to calculate net profit, margin and ROI on any Amazon FBA product before you commit to sourcing.
⚠️ Estimates only. Amazon fees vary by category and product size/weight. Always verify in Seller Central's Revenue Calculator.
Amazon FBA sellers pay two main Amazon fees: a referral fee (typically 8–15% depending on category) and an FBA fulfilment fee based on the size and weight of the item. Together with your product cost and shipping to Amazon, these costs eat into your margin quickly if you haven't done the maths upfront.
Successful FBA sellers aim for a minimum 30% profit margin and at least 50% ROI before advertising costs. This calculator helps you check those numbers before sourcing any product.
Most experienced FBA sellers target a minimum of 25–30% net profit margin after all fees, before advertising. Below 20% leaves very little room for PPC spend, returns and price competition. Margins above 40% are possible with well-sourced products.
No — advertising (PPC) costs are not included because they vary hugely. Subtract your target ACoS from the net profit figure to see what you'll make after ads. Use the ACOS Calculator on this site to model your advertising.
Log in to Amazon Seller Central, go to Inventory → Manage Inventory, then click on a product and select 'Fee Preview'. Alternatively, use Amazon's FBA Revenue Calculator (search for it in Seller Central) to get an official fee estimate before listing.
Most categories are 15%. Electronics are 8%. Some categories (like jewellery or Amazon devices) can be 20%+. Check the Amazon Seller Central fee schedule for your exact category before entering a number here.
