How to Use This Tool
Step 1 — Upload your image. Click the upload area or drag and drop a file.
Step 2 — Adjust the crop box. Drag the box to reposition it, or drag the bottom-right handle to resize it.
Step 3 — Download. Click "Crop & Download" to get your cropped image as a PNG.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Cropping too tight. Leave a little breathing room around your subject — you can always crop again, but you can't add back what you removed.
Ignoring the platform's aspect ratio. If the crop is for a thumbnail or profile picture, check the required ratio first with the Aspect Ratio Calculator.
Does this upload my image anywhere?
No. The crop happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device.
What file formats are supported?
