Narrow your angle or audience further until the combination becomes rare. Being the "only" creator for a smaller, well-defined group beats being one of thousands in a broad niche.
A narrow niche is easier to grow from because it's easier to be discovered and remembered. You can always broaden later once you have an established, loyal audience.
High competition isn't automatically bad if you have a genuinely different angle. The risk is high competition combined with an identical angle and audience — that's when differentiation becomes essential.
