Streamline your recording workflow with a detailed session plan, prep checklists, and technical troubleshooting guides.
Drink warm water, do vocal warm-ups (hum, lip trills, tongue twisters), and read your outline aloud once before recording. Your first take is rarely your best ā warm up before you hit record.
Don't stop ā clap once (visible in the waveform), pause for 2 seconds, then restart that sentence. This makes it easy to find and cut mistakes in the edit without having to restart the whole recording.
Take a 10-minute break between each piece. Mental fatigue affects your energy, diction and creativity significantly. Your third piece recorded without a break will sound noticeably worse than your first.
