A customer avatar is a detailed profile of your ideal customer — their struggles, goals, objections and language — used to guide your content, marketing and product decisions.
Start with one primary avatar. Trying to speak to multiple avatars at once dilutes your messaging. You can develop secondary avatars once your core offer is validated.
Very specific. Vague avatars like "young professionals" don't help you write better copy. Specific struggles, goals and language make your marketing feel personal and relevant.
